Globel Foster Care (GFC) is a Child Placing Agency (CPA) dedicated to providing high quality care and service to children and families. GFC provides a strong family atmosphere that encourages the development of healthy, life changing relationships, and models Christian values in everyday life. GFC currently serves children in foster care with both Basic and Therapeutic needs in the Houston and surrounding areas. There are two departments within Globel Foster Care: Foster Care and Adoption.
The Foster Care department is overseen by Joy Davenport where there is 24-hour residential care for children that are removed from their biological family. The children have been removed from these families by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS).
The Adoption department is overseen by Janet McAfee which provides International Adoptions, and Private Adoptions Services to children removed from their family by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). These services are available for responsible adults who seek children in need of a permanent home and family. We help to put children with great famililes and assist in the transition.
